Position: Small Pack Walk Leader

Location: Whistler

Type: Part-Time (2-3 days/week), with potential for Full-Time (4-5 days/week) including Friday-Sunday availability.

Compensation: $25 per hour plus tips

**Role and Responsibilities**

As a Small Pack Walk Leader, you will be a crucial member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional care and guided outdoor experiences for the dogs under your supervision. Your primary duties will include:

- Leading small pack walks in Whistler, ensuring the safety, well-being, and enrichment of the dogs.
- Demonstrating a deep understanding of dog behavior and body language to facilitate positive interactions among dogs.
- Upholding our commitment to safety by maintaining a vigilant and attentive approach during walks.
- Providing a positive and nurturing environment for dogs to socialize, exercise, and learn.
- Keeping accurate records of the walks, including attendance, observations, and any incidents.
- Contributing to the education and development of our canine companions through consistent training techniques.

**Qualifications**

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

- Prior experience working with animals, particularly dogs, demonstrating a genuine passion for their well-being and happiness.
- Certification in canine first aid and CPR, ensuring the ability to respond effectively to any unexpected situations.
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior, body language, and pack dynamics.
- Valid class 5 driver's license and comfort with transporting dogs in a safe and responsible manner.
- Ability to work independently and confidently, adapting to changing weather conditions and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, both with dogs and team members.
- Physical fitness and stamina to keep up with active dogs during outdoor activities.
