Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Director to join our team. As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating engaging activities for our senior residents. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and create a vibrant and fulfilling environment.

**Duties**:

- Develop and implement a diverse range of activities and programs to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents
- Coordinate and schedule activities such as arts and crafts, games, outings, exercise classes, music therapy, and educational programs
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure activities are well-planned and executed
- Encourage resident participation in activities and provide support as needed
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback
- Stay updated on current trends in senior care and incorporate innovative ideas into activity planning
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for residents, families, and visitors

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in senior care or caregiving is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of assisted living or nursing home regulations and standards
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in improving the quality of life for seniors

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
