**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for all aspects of production core team involving man, machine, method and material with 24 hour responsibilities.
- Direct and lead the implementation and ongoing execution of quality, cost, and delivery initiatives to support a manufacturing operation with the goal to deliver superior operating results and to further enhance our customer’s total quality experience.
- Manage the daily activities of members of a manufacturing team (composed of 4 rotating shifts). Incumbent will also work in partnership with on-shift managers to evaluate and manage performance trends. Responsibilities do include supervision, coordination, and management of multiple employees including the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the team’s activities.

**Essential Functions**:

- Provide leadership and advocacy of a continuous improvement culture.
- Facilitate team of employees engaged in activities that result in continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage clearly defined deliverables for team scorecard.
- Serve as the “champion” for all activities and work with leadership across the business to train, communicate, standardize, sustain and facilitate the implementation of Plant Optimization strategies.
- Build strong and positive working relationships with all functional areas across the plant.
- Develop strategies for improvement in a participative, non-union environment.
- Conduct all activities and behave in a method that is strictly consistent with the Company’s Code of Conduct and applicable local legislation.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience (operations, quality or engineering) in a leadership role.
- Must have a demonstrated history of successfully leading and facilitating changes in a 24/7 operation that involve all levels of employees with measurable results. Proven ability to lead associates through coaching and mentoring.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Track record of successful project management and team experience.

Personal computer skills in a networked environment, Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access) required
