Team Leader

To support the rapid growth at JMP Solutions, a Team Leader is required to ensure that we continue to deliver top notch work solving our customer’s greatest challenges. The team leader is responsible for leading a team of Control Specialists as they execute projects and driving growth in Wallet Share accounts. The Team Leader will work closely with the Branch Manager to support the branches quarterly, annual, and long-term priorities.
**What would a typical day look like?**
- Lead a team of Control Specialists, providing technical direction, mentorship and guidance
- You will exercise Project Management and technical skills to lead the team by example
- Establish relationships with other JMP Divisions to strengthen the team’s ability to deliver the full JMP offering of services
- Drive growth within identified Wallet Share accounts
- Participates in leadership development activities in order to accelerate their skillsets
**What Are the Responsibilities?**
**_Technical delivery: _**
- Lead the execution of projects including design, drafting, programming, and commissioning
- Act as project manager, as assigned
**_Team development and management: _**
- Mentor and coach team members
- Anticipate, identify, and support local training initiatives to grow the skillsets of the team
- Participate in hiring, performance reviews and career development plans for direct reports
- Resource scheduling to ensure resources are meeting their chargeability and capacity targets, and that all customers are being serviced
- Balance workload assignments to ensure targets are met and employees are engaged with appropriate work levels
**_Customer development and management: _**
- Develop relationships with specific customers who have been identified as crucial to branch success
- Act as a central contact person for all matters with assigned customers
- Proposal development on all small opportunities and provide support to Business Development Manager / Applications Specialist for larger opportunities
- Together with the Business Development Manager, provide input to account plans for key accounts
**_Quality Control: _**
- Ensure the team is executing projects to JMP standards, following our project execution methodology
- Ensure the projects are being managed using our PM tools and processes, striving for complete PM Adherence

- An ability to travel; although this position is focused on local clients and mínimal travel is required, Team Leaders should have the ability to travel within US and Canada
