**What’s The Role?**
Headquartered in Mississauga, ON and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, we are currently looking for a **Human Resources Manager** to join our team.
In this position, you will be providing guidance and driving efficiency and effectiveness in all areas of Human Resources, including but not limited to: full cycle recruitment, performance management, compensation, training & development, employee relations, health & safety and administrative (benefits) programs. You will work in partnership with the Apex Leadership Team to proactively identify areas of improvement, advocate for employees and enhance corporate culture.
**What Will You Do?**
- Responsible for full cycle recruitment for all positions: including full-time and temporary employees
- Review of job descriptions, salary grading and job evaluations
- Manage employee benefits: including annual renewal negotiations, salary updates, status changes and terminations
- Maintain employee files (paper and electronic), update HRIS system (BambooHR) and monitor vacation balances
- Revise employee policies and training on an annual basis and ensure compliance with federal and provincial legislation
- Spearhead employee review process; including quarterly PRP scoring and annual performance reviews
- Collaborate with Department Managers and provide recommendations for employee relations issues and progressive discipline management
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time
- Performs other job duties as assigned
**What Is Your Experience?**
- A minimum 5-7 years of experience in a Human Resources role with a solid Generalist background covering all facets of HR
- A university or college degree with a focus in Human Resources; CHRP or CHRL designation considered an asset
- Strong business and operational acumen, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to build collaborative and trusting relationships with all levels of employees - management and plant
- Strong facilitation, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive recruiting and onboarding experience with both office and plant roles
- Excellent planning and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop, modify, and continually improve policies that will inform and guide all aspects of the organization
- Experience utilizing HR Systems & MS Office
