After the successful launch of Toronto steakhouse icon, **BLACK+BLUE**we are expanding our West Coast hospitality with the upcoming launch of Michelin-recommend, **RILEY’S FISH + STEAK TORONTO**, a refined fish-and-chophouse dining experience set to open in the heart of Toronto’s bustling downtown core. Riley’s will offer a sophisticated yet inviting setting for locals, visitors, and business diners alike. Riley’s will bring together the finest offerings from Canada’s oceans, pastures, and farms in an expansive space designed for connection, celebration, and culinary excellence.

We are currently looking for an energetic, passionate **ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER**to lead our opening team.

**JOB OVERVIEW**:
Work with the General Manager to oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation. Manage the restaurant within the policies and procedures of Glowbal Restaurant Group to ensure guest satisfaction and profit maximization.

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**:

- 3 years minimum experience - management level in a similar environment
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Hospitality Management/Food & Beverage Management is an asset
- Sommelier accreditation or wine education is an asset
- Technically competent with industry related forms of computer and electronic commerce
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Sound inter-personal and conflict management skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to set priorities for self and others
- Exceptional leadership skills with the capacity to develop and motivate staff to achieve goals
- Commitment to exceeding guest expectations

**TO WORK FOR US**:You MUST have valid proof of Social Insurance Number and be legal to work in Canada with proof as a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Residence or Valid Work Permit.

Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
