Sunrise Soya Foods is seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Manager for our Vancouver production facility. Working closely with the Vice President of Operations, the Plant Manager will focus on leading and overseeing the administration of all plant operations, including production, maintenance, warehousing, and applicable office functions. This role will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strong empathetic leader with a deep understanding of manufacturing systems and operations to optimize plant performance and achieve operational excellence. The Plant Manager will build and nurture relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal department managers, aligning plant operations with strategic priorities to foster a transparent and equitable work environment. **The Qualifications & Experience we need are**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in plant management or a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Proficiency in MRP systems, SAP software, and other relevant manufacturing technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality control measures.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex machinery and fabrication processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams towards achieving operational goals with an emphasis on safety.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

**Work Conditions**
- Full-time, permanent role with flexible hours based on plant needs.
- Split between office and production facility, with exposure to variable temperatures and noise.
- Required use of Personal Protective Equipment and adherence to company dress code.
