We currently have a need for **Fabricators** for our Elmira, ON plant. **Fabricators** utilize technical drawings, blueprints or other specifications to construct metal products, as well as a number of products ranging from sheet metal parts to metal molds. Fabricators often advance in manufacturing operations to Welders, Quality Control Inspectors or CNC operators. Opportunities for advancement are available.
- Experience using cut saws, angle saws, punches, presses and grinders
- Fine measuring experience
- Ideally 3-5 years experience with metal assembly projects
- Read and understand drawings
- CNC router table an asset
- Forklift experience an asset (can be trained)
- A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
- Good communication abilities
- Knowledge of relative safety standards
- A high energy level, a positive attitude and be able to work without direct supervision
- Ability to work well with others as a member of a team as well as independently
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Is able to lift 50lbs to waist height without straining themselves frequently

Shifts (straight, non-rotating):
Day - Monday to Friday: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

Afternoon - Monday to Friday: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm ($0.75 per hour premium)

Midnight - Sunday to Thursday: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am ($1.00 per hour premium)

Starting rate is $19.24/hr, moving to $21.91 after 6 months and $23.31 after 12 months.
