The _**Humber River FHO/FHT - Mount Dennis Weston Health Centre**_ is recruiting for a Full-Time Family Physician to join the team. The available FHO spot is to take over a roster of around 800 patients from a retiring physician.
The Mount Dennis Weston Health Centre is part of the large and collegial Humber River Family Health. The clinic is located at 2050 Weston Rd (near Hwy 401 and Weston). It is a 9-minute walk from the UP Express Weston station. The facility was purpose built in 2015. Clinic rooms are spacious with ample office space. The patient population is diverse.
Our collegial team consists of 11 physicians. Our allied staff includes a nurse, diabetic nurse specialist, nurse practitioner, pharmacist, social workers, dieticians and a chiropodist. The building is well supported with a lab, a pharmacy, an x-ray/ultrasound clinic and a physiotherapy/chiropractic clinic.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and consultation.
- Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient histories, examination results, and treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure coordinated care.
**Experience & Qualifications**:
- Medical Doctor (MD) registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario in good standing is required.
- Experience in primary care or relevant specialty preferred.
Experience working at a FHO or FHT as a locum or student preferred. New Graduates welcome and encouraged to apply. Strong support from other physicians.
Pay: $200,000.00-$350,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
