**Supervisor, Prep** Impact XM develops solutions for virtual and live events. We are looking for a **Supervisor, Prep** to join our team. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in installation, inventory, cleaning and repair of structural woodwork and other exhibit related components by performing the following duties. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Examines blueprints to determine dimensions of structure. - Determines sequence of activities concerned with assembly, and erection of structure. - Assigns workers to such tasks as inventorying, cleaning, repairing and coordinating assemblies of exhibit related components. - Supervises workers engaged in inventorying, cleaning and repairing exhibit components. - Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment. - Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. - Proficient in operating both stand up and sit-down forklifts. - Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. - Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. - Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew. - Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. - Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. - Maintains time and production records. **REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS**: - One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Must be passionate about working with people and be customer centric. - Experience in the event marketing or a creative solutions-based agency. - Thrives in an entrepreneurial and independent environment. - Embodies flexibility, open-mindedness and receptivity. - Actively works out solutions. - Identifies something valuable in being part of a team and ability to effectively collaborate. - Effective communication skills are required: including the ability to make effective presentations; prepare written documentation including proposals, quotations and letters; maintain accurate and complete client and project files. - Must be able to develop excellent rapport with existing and prospective clients. - Must have a good “business sense”. - Exhibit the ability to multi-task, sell, and operate under severe time constraints and immovable deadlines.
