Picker/packer/material Handler

**Job Overview**:
As a Picker/Packer/Material Handler at our Indian restaurant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that food orders, ingredients, and supplies are properly organized, packed, and delivered efficiently.
**Responsibilities**:
Ingredient & Supply Management:
- Receive, inspect, and unload deliveries from food suppliers, verifying quantities and quality against invoices.
- Monitor inventory levels of food staples, spices, packaging, and other supplies, alerting the kitchen manager when stocks are low.
Order Picking & Packing:
- Accurately pick ingredients from inventory for daily kitchen prep based on chef's lists.
- Assemble and pack takeout, delivery, and catering orders with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all items on the ticket are included.
Quality Control & Safety:
- Identify and report any spoiled, damaged, or sub-standard ingredients to management immediately.
- Uphold the restaurant's high standards for presentation and order accuracy before orders leave the kitchen.
**Qualifications**:
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow directions from supervisors.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic math skills for portioning and packaging food items accurately.
Punctual and responsible.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.04-$25.87 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
