**Reporting**

As the Chief Compliance Officer, you will be reporting to the CEO and work closely with the director of OTC business.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the opening of crypto-friendly bank accounts to help expand the company’s OTC business
- Act as the main point of contact when dealing with banks and other financial entities, as well as the FINTRAC.
- Mastermind compliance policies and protocols in the crypto industry
- Remain up to date on Canadian laws related to cryptocurrencies and update the company’s policies accordingly
- Create a compliance resource library as a guide for staff members, when needed

**Qualifications**
- previous working experiences at an MSB is a must-have
- 5+ years of previous experience in compliance roles
- Exemplify strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices
- Must be a strong communicator and capable of expressing oneself clearly both in speaking and in writing
- Excellent public-facing communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional rapport-building skills

**Nice-to-Haves**
- Understanding of cryptocurrency and basic blockchain terminology
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese is an asset.
