Mill/Saw/Slitting Operator - Orangeville, ON A global plastics manufacturer is experiencing a growth in sales and demand in many areas of its business and is looking to recruit for the Orangeville, ON manufacturing facility. Job Responsibilities - Consists of setup and operation of milling/saw process in a manufacturing plastics environment. - Mill Operator/Saw Operator is responsible for measuring all dimensions of the parts being produced and completing first article and in process inspections. - Milling/sawing process consists of a conveyor belt and digital controller to set the machines required thickness. - Operators mill/saw sheets in passes to achieve the desired finish and gauge. Qualifications/Requirements - Strong mechanical skills - Problem solving abilities - Ability to learn and mater machinery and troubleshooting maintenance - Enjoyment of hands-on-work with production machinery - Perform and analyze quality control monitoring and accurate reporting of production - 1 year experience in a continuous process manufacturing environment - Forklift experience/certification - Able to lift to >50 lbs., push, pull, stand on a concrete floor Rate of Pay Depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, experiences both work and educational the rate starts at $21.43 - $24.82.
