Saw Operator

We are hiring**Saw operator** for one of our clients in **Orangeville.** **STR** **Responsibilities**: - Consists of setup and operation of the milling/sawing process in a manufacturing plastics environment. - Saw Operator is responsible for measuring all dimensions of the parts being produced and completing first article and in-process inspections. - Sawing process consists of a conveyor belt and digital controller to set the machine’s required thickness. **Qualifications/Requirements** - Strong mechanical skills - Problem-solving abilities - Ability to learn and master machinery and troubleshoot maintenance - Enjoyment of hands-on-work with production machinery - Perform and analyze quality control monitoring and accurate reporting of production - 1 year experience in a continuous process manufacturing environment - Forklift experience/certification - Able to lift up to >50 lbs, push, pull, stand on a concrete floor **Rate of Pay** Depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences both work and educational the rate starts at $21.43 - $24.82. **Shifts**: Permanent, Full-Time Position 12 hr continental, days/night rotation, every 4 weeks Averaging agreements in place 84 hrs biweekly with opportunity for OT **Location**: Orangeville **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $21.43-$24.82 per hour Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: - Orangeville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Work Location: One location
