You are an experienced Prepress Technician or Designer with strong knowledge of Adobe Tools. You are available for immediate hire. You are deadline driven and success oriented. **Core responsibilities**:

- Build accurate prepress ready artwork in an efficient and timely manner using Adobe Tools such as Illustrator and Photoshop;
- Follow client brand style guides and maintain consistent files;
- Make logical and creative decisions when working on complex layouts;
- Communicate effectively with supervisor, customers, co-workers, account managers and all preproduction personnel;
- Read and understand job requirements before beginning assembly process;
- Identify missing or problematic components and communicate them to the CSR/Prepress Manager;
- Ensure all jobs are marked correctly for size and colour;
- Prioritize each day to schedule workflow efficiently & cost-effectively;
- Perform all other duties as requested by Management in order to help the team effort;
- Work as part of a team, follow and adhere to MYC Media code of ethics and participate in the continuous improvements efforts;
- Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop), 1 to 3 years;
- Knowledge of various print processes;
- Colour Management, Colour matching;
- Problem solver;
- Quick learner;
- Self-starter;
- Experience in RIP software - Onyx, RasterLink;
- Familiar with Large Format printers - Roll-to-roll and flatbed printers;
- Familiar with CNC die-lines and plotters;
- Experience in Vehicle Wrap projects - layout, paneling, scaling;
- Experience in Dimensional Signs projects;
- Can work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Can work without supervision;
- Responsible and reliable;
- Able to make decisions and learn from own mistakes;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
