**Position Overview**

CAF performs snow removal in the winter months, shifts may require overnight and early mornings, shifts can vary in length, and/or up to 12 hours during heavy snow events. Shifts are weather dependent, but we do guarantee 35 hours per week minimum even if you do not work.

Summer shifts are Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm with weekends/holidays off. Monthly BBQ's, incentive programs and a killer farmers tan.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install a variety of fences including wood, vinyl, chain-link, and metal.
- Measure and mark fence lines, posts, and gates accurately.
- Prepare and clear installation sites, including digging post holes and leveling ground.
- Assemble and install fence panels, gates, and hardware.
- Ensure all installations meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain and repair fencing as needed.
- Operate and maintain installation equipment and tools safely.
- Communicate effectively with customers to address any concerns or questions.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in fence installation or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fencing materials and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.

**Desired Skills**:

- Experience with different types of fencing materials (wood, vinyl, metal).
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Class 5 Drivers License and clean drivers abstract are required
- Fence, carpentry and/or construction experience is an asset
- Equipment experience is an asset
- Detail-orientated, motivated by getting things done right the first time
- Dedicated and work hard to achieve quality results and be willing to do the job according to company standards
- Communication and customer service skills

Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
