We are looking for a **Procurement Specialist **who is ready to join our growing and diverse team in **our Waterloo office.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of purchase orders for goods and services
- Review purchase orders prepared by others for compliance with Procurement Guidelines
- Accurately enter data
- Make revisions and closeout of purchase orders
- Liaise with suppliers and project managers regarding purchase orders and delivery
- Work closely with the projects team to understand details of procurement requirements
- Assist with vendor onboarding and prequalification
- Work with Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices
- Establish and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with internal and external customers
- Assist with Sustainable Procurement reporting and analysis
- Sustainable Procurement Vendor Management. Engaging and discussing Environmental, Sustainable and Governance (ESG) with vendors
- Maintain Procurement files
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:

- Previous experience in Administration or Procurement
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding communication skills and rapport building
- Strong understanding of contractual agreements
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual in English and French is considered an asset
