Much of our success is dependent on the energy, enthusiasm and work from our staff, and we are currently looking for energetic and passionate individuals to join our management team as Food and Beverage Supervisors. This is a year-round, full-time position.

In this role the individual would be responsible for the supervision of the food and beverage service in the manner most pleasing to members and guests of the Burlington Golf and Country Club. The individual would assure a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness in all areas of the clubhouse.

Tasks and Responsibilities Include:

- Carefully Supervising all food and beverage staff and help ensure proper service
- Greeting and assisting members and guests to the BGCC
- Taking reservations and organizing table reservation schedules in all areas
- Planning and executing bar, dining, patio and banquet set-ups based on anticipated member, guest and client needs and events
- Overseeing and executing functions and events
- Monitoring the flow of events and ensure that timelines are adhered to
- Training service and bartending staff
- Assisting in service when needed - taking orders, wine service, serving and clearing tables
- Championing a fun and safe work environment
- Receiving and resolving complaints concerning food, beverages and service
- Serving as a liaison between front of house and back of house staff
- Assuring the correct appearance, cleanliness and safety for all dining areas, equipment and fixtures
- Making suggestions about improvements for dining and service experiences
- Monitor food and beverage labour and supply budgets and make adjustments where necessary
- Updating daily revenue analysis reports from the Point-of-Sale system
- Relaying information among staff in relation to policy and menu changes
- Ensuring the clubhouse and other club areas are secure at the end of business day

The qualified individual will:

- Have the ability to operate with a high degree of efficiency in a fast-paced environment
- Have proven knowledge in food and beverage
- Have proven work experience in a supervisory role in the food and beverage industry
- Confidently have the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Possess strong leadership and customer service skills
- Have the abilities to handle high stress situations and problem solve
- Be energetic and outgoing
- Appreciate a member driven environment, and enjoy engaging with members and guests

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
