**The Opportunity**
As the Total Rewards and HRIS Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and administering our company's total rewards programs and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our compensation, benefits, and HR systems are effectively designed, implemented, and maintained to support the organization's objectives and enhance the employee experience. You will collaborate closely with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to streamline processes, analyze data, and enhance the employee experience.
**Responsibilities**
- Administer and maintain our benefits programs, including health & dental insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Conduct market research and analysis to ensure our total rewards offerings remain competitive and aligned with industry standards and trends.
- Conduct regular audits and analyses to assess the effectiveness and competitiveness of our total rewards offerings, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to design and implement innovative total rewards strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance HRIS functionality, streamline processes, and drive efficiency in HR operations.
- Lead the design, implementation, and administration of total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and recognition initiatives.
- Manage and administer our HRIS platform, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance with regulatory and payroll requirements.
Partner with HR leadership to develop and deliver insightful analytics and reports to inform strategic decision-making related to total rewards and HRIS initiatives.
- Support the annual compensation planning cycle, including merit increases, bonus payouts, and salary benchmarking activities.
Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing expertise and insights to support the achievement of HR and organizational objectives.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and legislative changes related to compensation and benefits, and proactively recommend adjustments or enhancements to programs as needed.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to compensation and benefits administration.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced certification (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional, Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Benefits, Total Rewards & HRIS administration, preferably with expertise in platforms such as BambooHR, UKG Ultipro, Workday, or similar systems.
- Experience working directly with US and Canadian benefits brokers to negotiate competitive benefits plans.
- Experience working in payroll would be considered an asset.
- Experience in SaaS is an asset.
- Experience with transformation and scaling companies is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in total rewards administration, including compensation, benefits, and recognition programs, with knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in both Canada and the US.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-change, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
