**Requirement**:

- **A minimum of 2 years of LCT experience in controlling traffic at a busy street**:

- **BCCSA approved Traffic Control Person certification**:

- **BC Class 5 License and clean driver’s abstract**:

- Drug Test is required for this project
- Ability to effectively communicate with drivers and operators
- General construction site and flagging knowledge
- Personal transportation to commute to site

**Responsibilities**:

- Directing drivers, pedestrians, and workers to safe routes around road construction sites
- Assist in accessing and exiting work sites and reporting to questions
- Assist with set up and maintenance of project signage and barricades including daily barricade reports
- Protect workers by keeping work space free of traffic and warning them of approaching hazards
- Setting up and providing traffic control specifications
- Reviewing traffic management plans
- Training other site workers about traffic and equipment safety
- Performing other related duties as required

**Salary: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour (Including 12% vacation pay, travel allowance and benefits) **_*Salary will be determine based on experience and during the in-person interview*_

**Salary**: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Signing bonus

- Abbotsford, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- LCT: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- TCP Ticket (required)
- Driving License with clean abstract (required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (required)
