A Medical Data Analyst I annotates surgical videos using specialized software to identify key events in the operating room. This requires exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, an aptitude for technology, and the ability to quickly learn how an operating room functions.

**Duties and responsibilities**

A Medical Data Analyst I works under the direction of the Medical Data Analyst I Team Lead to analyze, annotate, and perform quality assurance on data and analytics generated by the OR Black Box® platform. Specific tasks include labelling for training of artificial intelligence models, analysis of key milestones and events, and evaluation of standard operating procedures.
- Annotating video and audio files according to established frameworks and reference documents by using specialized software.
- Contributing to the development of reference documents related to the tasks.
- Participating in continuous education activities.
- Providing feedback to internal stakeholders regarding the use of our software platforms.
- Completing assigned tasks within required timeframes.
- Maintaining performance standards for credentialed tasks

**Skills and Knowledge**
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, High School Diploma required
- Experience or interest in health sciences preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Proficient knowledge of computer systems and technologies
- Passion for data efficiency and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines

**Working conditions**

The work of the Medical Data Analyst I is performed in an office environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
