We offer internet bidding, appraisals, and custom auction proposals to meet your specific challenges. Team Auction's main office is in Drayton Valley, Alberta. We have 5 locations in total (Drayton Valley, Edmonton, Fairview, Taber and Kamloops, BC). Our low commission rates and aggressive marketing strategies help our customers sell and buy items successfully. Team Auctions is proud to have won awards for "Best Marketing Website". We are currently looking for someone to help maintain our Edmonton yard and assist in the development of this location as the company grows. - **Main Objective**_ - The main objective of the Yard Personnel at Team Auctions is to assist with asset intake, setup, and load out for an auction sale as well as the maintenance of the Team Auctions yard and equipment. - **Responsibilities**_ - Educate clients on our service offerings and utilizing Team Auctions as benefit. - Follow an efficient asset intake system for accountability and optimal customer service. - Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring that items are properly labeled, and tracking item locations within the yard. - Prepare items for auction, which may include cleaning, organizing, and arranging items for display. Assist in setting up the auction yard, including arranging items and setting up auction signage. Process yard assets accurately and efficiently for ease with listing and potential buyers viewing. Arrange assets so that they are both visually appealing and convenient for viewing for potential buyers. - Provide primary grounds and equipment maintenance to uphold company standards. - Assist customers with locating items, answering questions, and providing general information about the auction process. - Help maintain the security of the auction yard by monitoring access, preventing theft, and ensuring that items are stored safely. - Ensure that all activities in the auction yard comply with safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries. - Assist with post sale activities, including removing unsold items, organizing remaining inventory, and preparing the yard for the next auction. - Work closely with other team members to ensure that auctions run smoothly and efficiently. - **Qualifications**_ - Driver’s License - Class 1 (Asset) - **Working Conditions**_ Will be required to work outside in all Weather conditions. Overtime must be pre-approved by the manager. - **Physical Requirements**_ May have to lift up to 50lbs. - **Motion Parameters**_ Required to climb stairs, walk, squat, kneel, or drive and stand for long periods of them. - **Vision and Hearing Requirements**_ The ability to judge distances when loading/unloading and placing excepted. - **Psychological Demands**_ Expected to make quick decisions, supervise workers, problem solve, read or write, speak publicly, or interpret data.
