**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of new and existing products from initial concept, market intelligence and research, through development, launch, and post launch optimization.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, engineering, production, sales and marketing to deliver products that align with Global Drain Technologies’ strategic plan.
- Develop a strong understanding of our products, representing Global Drain Technologies at customer meetings, trade shows and industry events.
- Participate in client on-site support and installation method optimization.
- Develop and manage guide specifications, project specification development, etc.
- Collaborate closely with product marketing teams on the optimization of product position and product journey.
- Build strong customer relationships to develop a deep understanding of their challenges and requirements.
- Understand the market and customer by utilizing research, data, feedback, and trend analysis to deliver relevant and competitive products.
- Ensure regulatory compliance for FoodSafe Drains and product line.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders and upper management.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance and implement data-driven improvements.
- Coordinate with the marketing and sales team to develop go-to-market strategies and support product launch campaigns.
- Provide technical product training to sales and marketing teams.
**WHAT YOU BRING**
- Post-secondary education in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years proven experience in a product-related role (product manager, implementation specialist, product owner) ideally in the mechanical, plumbing, drainage systems building materials, and product or service solutions delivered to the commercial construction industries.
- Experience in lean manufacturing or six sigma methodologies.
- Strong Analytical skills to make informed product decisions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Able to work cross-functionally with other departments such as engineering, sales, marketing and production.
- Entrepreneurial drive and ability to achieve goals in an innovative environment.
