**The Opportunity**

The Inventory Control person in our Electronics Assembly department works within the department on issues related to inventory optimization, materials flow, supply chain management and demand planning. They will work with the team to establish, maintain and monitor inventory and supply chain processes to help RAD achieve its goals for efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction

FTE at 40 hours per week.

The role will be Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.

**The Role and Responsibilities**
- Ensures integrity and accuracy of the inventory management system by recording and maintaining inventory records via ERP.
- Works co-operatively with the departments to optimize delivery times of parts and assemblies, communicating cross-functionality to achieve targets.
- Attends tactical department meetings to ensure production targets are being met.
- Protects the company against wasteful, inefficient, unsafe, fraudulent practices.
- Records and maintains accurate written procedures for all inventory control processes.
- Other duties as assigned

**The Qualifications**
- Minimum education: High School Diploma.
- Addition manufacturing process certifications considered an asset Lean / ASQ / Six Sigma.
- Experience_
- 1-3 years’ experience in an manufacturing environment in the area of inventory management, materials planning, and/or supply chain management would be considered an asset.
- Aptitude for inspection of machined parts to drawings.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, MRP functionality, production planning, inventory planning and production scheduling.
- Skills_
- Knowledge of inventory management processes and best practices.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings and finishing requirements.
- Must have the aptitude to understand and inspect machined parts to drawings.

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
