**VICE PRESIDENT - ENABLEMENT [WORKFORCE CAPABILITY]**
Reporting to the Chief Customer Experience Officer, you will lead, develop and execute the
Workforce Capability strategy, focused on delivering channel-wide training with a high focus on customer experience. This is a remote work from home opportunity. You may be required to travel between our core office locations in High River, AB, Victoria, BC, and Winnipeg, MB.
**Here is what a typical day looks like**
- Develop a high performing team to support frontline leaders across multiple business lines in the delivery and sustainment of training material to build the confidence and capability of our sales team
- Drive joint accountability and partnership through strong collaboration and coordination with business line leaders through the various channels
- Build and deliver on highly visible, channel-wide product and broker training programs that support standardized continuous learning and development of employee product and sales knowledge
- Develop the “Western Way” of delivering insurance advice with consistency
- Direct program strategy development, scoping, planning, execution, budget/resource management, and tracking, from initiation through implementation of all product and broker experience programs
- Build practices to identify core markets to guide the creation and implementation of knowledge-based training
- Align and integrate channel processes for competitive advantage, including cross-functional practices
- Create KPIs and provide reporting to various stakeholders
**The value you bring**
- 5+ years leading a front-line distribution Learning Team supporting various channels; retail & sales industry experience is an asset
- 10+ years in various Learning and Development team structures, including hybrid models
- Proven history of building an established, integrated training team throughout a medium-large organization
- Excellent presentation skills and strong follow through with on-going communications to various stakeholders
- Leadership style which encourages diversity of thought to create a culture of trust, with an unselfish mindset to foster leadership in others
