Highbury Asset Management has an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable Coordinator in Victoria, BC. Highbury Asset Management provides executive management and shared finance and administrative services for a portfolio of locally owned retail and commercial operations with 300+ employees on southern Vancouver Island and Salt Spring Island.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee accounts payable process, liaising with administrative staff at retail stores
- Verify entry of retail vendor invoices
- Process non-retail and confidential vendor invoices and payments
- Analyze employee expense reports for completeness and accuracy
- Reconcile payments to supplier statements
- Respond to vendor inquiries and questions
- Maintain electronic AP filing system
- Approve and add new vendors
- Other tasks and projects as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 plus post-secondary courses in accounting and office procedures or equivalent
- 2 years related experience in a high-volume environment
- Experience with Sage 50 accounting software is an asset
- Grocery store experience is an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal

**Benefits and Compensation**
