**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Source and procure materials and supplies for production by evaluating vendors, negotiating prices, and placing orders.
- Track inventory levels, manage purchase orders, and analyze procurement data using internal systems.
- Work closely with the supply chain team to forecast demand and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and adherence to agreements.
- Conduct market research to find new suppliers and compare product options.
- Develop purchasing strategies that align with company goals while optimizing costs.
- Stay informed about industry trends and pricing changes to make smart purchasing decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a **manufacturing or automotive environment**.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure the best pricing and terms from vendors.
- Experience using inventory management or purchasing software.
- Analytical mindset to assess pricing, product quality, and vendor performance.
- Ability to collaborate with different departments and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for vendor negotiations and internal coordination.
- Problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

- Purchasing: 2 years (required)
