**Job Description**:
Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Human Resources and Workforce Experience team.
**Assist with Coordinating and Supporting Talent Acquisition and People Experience Processes such as**:
- Developing search specifications, recruitment timeline, sourcing strategy, appropriate interview process, and selection criteria
- Assistance with recruitment activities and processes such as reviewing/assessing resumes, coordinating interviews, and following up on reference checks
- Propose and facilitate advertising campaigns for hard to fill vacancies
- Manage client satisfaction
- Support pre-employment and onboarding processes as needed
- Keep other team members apprised to avoid surprises and disappointed clients
**Assist with Program Development, Research & Analysis such as**:
- Analyzing Offboarding & Knowledge Transfer Program feedback and recommend opportunities for enhancements to practices and processes
- Researching best practices and make recommendations supported by evidence-based research in relation to talent acquisition
- Supporting the HR Analyst team to design and implement recruitment campaigns
- Develop relationships with external organizations, as well as with universities/colleges to increase resume flow
- Research and assist with developing behaviour-based screening tools with appropriate metrics for use by selection committees
- Assist with the administration of various HR databases and reporting
**Department Support**:
- Support Human Resources and People Experience activities
- Provide administrative support to the HR team as requested
- Provide Front Desk coverage and support as required
- Participate in special assignments, projects, and events
- Abide by the Code of Ethics of the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education & Experience**:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary Human Resources or related program preferred
- Strong administrative skills and excellent computer skills with an emphasis on MS Office required
- Knowledge of employment/labour legislation, i.e., Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, etc.
- Strong research & analytical skills required
- Knowledge of project management tools an asset
- Knowledge of talent acquisition and best practices an asset
- Familiarity with an HRIS system (e.g., PeopleSoft) and Applicant Tracking System (e.g., HR Smart) an asset

- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and superior customer service skills, including tact, diplomacy, sensitivity, patience, and common sense
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team

- Proven flexibility and ability to adapt positively to change
- Ability to correctly make decisions involving client issues/problems including when to escalate the problem to a more senior colleague
- Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy with strict adherence to policies and handling of confidential information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
