Site Superintendent, Apartments
This role will provide on-site coordination for all phrases of multi-family apartment construction projects. You will be tasked with ensuring specifications are being followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
What will you do?
Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure on-time completion.
Perform quality control duties regarding the work being performed.
Communicate with project team regarding Change Orders.
Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work.
Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the jobsite.
Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by the project team.
Walk all units on project daily to monitor activities and assist in future scheduling.
Establish and enforce job site quality control programs to ensure quality completion of construction.
Schedule all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors, as well as ensure their completion of work within time allowed.
What do we look for?
Minimum of five years of verifiable experience in four story wood frame construction with parkade.
Thorough knowledge of construction scheduling, trade scopes and must be computer literate.
Valid driver's license and vehicle.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project & Outlook) is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively in front of groups of customers or employees of organization.
