**QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB**:

- Some technical knowledge, training and experience in manufacturing environment is required.
- Ability to interpret blue prints and drawings.
- Problem solving skills.
- Understanding fractions and decimals.
- Communication skills (English - written and verbal).
- Physically fit.
- Crane/Hoist safety certificate (training may be provided).
- WHMIS.
**MAIN DUTIES AND ACTIVITIES OF JOB**:

- Conducts pre-shift inspection of cranes/hoists, equipment, and tools.
- Reports deficiencies to the production supervisor.
- Operates cranes/hoists to transport or position large parts as required.
- Assembles, fits and installs prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finish products using hand and power tools according to Production Worksheet and drawing or verbal instructions.
- Ability to use brazing (silver & soft solder).
- Uses and operate hand tools, power tools in a safe manner.
- Positions, aligns and adjust parts for proper fit and puts them together with fasteners.
- Cleans equipment, tools and the working area at the end of the shift or as required.
- Maintains daily production requirements and ensures quality of products by checking and inspecting finished products for proper quality.
- Prepares production reports as required.
- Recommends measures to improve productivity and product quality to the supervisor.
- Adheres to the company’s policies and procedures.
- Follows health and safety rules and procedures.
- Works with minimum of supervision.
- Requires to cross-train.
- Any other duties as required by management from time to time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $23.00 per hour
