Bartender and Server Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bartenders and Servers to join our dynamic hospitality team. As a key part of our front-of-house operations, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests while maintaining a lively and welcoming atmosphere. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about customer service, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and thrive on creating memorable experiences for guests.

Duties

Bartender Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service laws and company policies.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and report shortages to management.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash register.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Server Responsibilities:

- Greet guests warmly, take food and drink orders, and provide menu recommendations.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, resetting tables efficiently for new guests.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
- Process payments, manage tabs, and provide accurate billing.
- Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending, serving, or hospitality is required.
- Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and food service procedures is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to engage with guests positively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Familiarity with POS systems and handling cash/card transactions.
- Responsible alcohol service certification (if required by state/local regulations) is a plus.
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive and professional attitude.
