**Maintenance Team Member**

**Job Duties**

As a maintenance crew member, you’ll take part in completing a diversity of tasks throughout the working season. There will also be opportunities to gain more specialized skills, such as basic topiary practices or pest management.

General tasks will include but are not limited to:

- Spring and fall cleanup of gardens
- Planting shrubs, perennials, and annuals in new and existing gardens
- Maintaining flowerbeds: weeding, cultivating, edging, and deadheading
- Pruning shrubs
- Winterizing gardens
- Using gardening and power tools (backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.)

**Requirements**:

- Steel-toed safety shoes - All other mandatory PPE is provided
- Willingness to work in a variety of weather
- Ability to lift 30lbs
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Be able to commute to/from the job sites as needed

**Not required but considered an asset**
- Horticulture experience
- Valid G Class driver's license
- First-aid training
