We are seeking an organized, customer-focused, and team-oriented **Campground Assistant Manager** to join our team for the 2025 season. If you enjoy combining operational excellence with exceptional guest service, we invite you to apply.

**Employment Type**: Full-time, Seasonal
**Pay Rate**: $22.5 to $25 per hour (depending on experience)

**Job Summary**
Reporting to the General Manager, the Campground Assistant Manager plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the campground. This position assists with operations management, guest services, reservations, team supervision, and administrative duties. The Assistant Manager ensures smooth operations while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Operations Management**:
- Oversee daily campground operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in all areas.
- Supervise and assist with campground cleaning and maintenance, including washrooms, showers, grounds, and public spaces.
- Use small tools and machinery for groundskeeping and minor repairs.
**Guest Services**:
- Greet and orient guests to campground amenities, services, and safety guidelines.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Enforce campground policies, including quiet hours, pet regulations, and bear-aware programs.
**Reservations and Back Office**:
- Manage reservations and check-ins/check-outs using the campground booking system.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, revenue, and guest information.
**Financial Administration**:
- Handle daily fee collection, bookkeeping, and cash reconciliations.
- Assist with inventory management for the convenience store, ensuring stock levels are adequate.
- Complete daily closing reports, including financial summaries, and submit them to the General Manager.
**Staff Supervision**:
- Provide direction and support to campground attendants, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Assist in staff training and promote teamwork to foster a positive and efficient work environment.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a similar role (campground, hospitality, or customer service management preferred).
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in reservation systems and basic accounting/bookkeeping.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a rural setting and performing outdoor tasks.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holiday weekends.
**Schedule**:
- Full-time hours: 40 hours per week.
- Flexibility required to accommodate busy periods.
