Production Assistant

This position comes with some flexibility in start and finish times, and would suit someone looking for work but has childcare or other commitments. It comes with full benefits after 3 months. It is 20-25 hours a week, no evenings, no weekends, no stat holidays.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Weeding and trimming prints and decals

Properly prepare orders for shipping

Assisting the Production Manager with in-house production organization

Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments

Track inventory and report any shortages to Management

Organize space arrangements for incoming shipments in the storage areas

Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed

**Requirements and Qualifications**:
Detail-oriented and a commitment to accuracy

Excellent communication skills

Able to stand for long periods

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Ability to complete work in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure

Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Familiarity with online freight programs (FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.) an asset

Forklift license/experience an asset

**Experience**:
Previous shipping and Production experience is an asset but not required.

On-the-job training will be provided.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
