**Job Summary**

We are seeking a Full-Time Caretaker for an established building located in Kitsilano.

We would like a self-starter who takes initiatives and are proactive on tasks assigned and beyond. Other than the caretaker & maintenance skills, you are a people-person who is capable in providing exceptional customer service. This position is responsible for the cleaning the building, meeting with trades, small repairs, reporting to the property manager plus handling all emergency calls out side of the business hours.

**Job Type / Category**
- Perform cleaning of the building
- Perform minor maintenance repairs in residential suites
- Perform regular maintenance duties (may include: changing light bulbs, locks, carpentry, painting, grouting, minor drywall repair, minor plumbing and tile repair, etc.)
- Complete general maintenance in garages and parking lots, mechanical rooms, on rooftops and in other common areas
- Perform scheduled, preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance as directed
- Complete tasks on a timely basis to ensure resident satisfaction and safety
- Miscellaneous maintenance not requiring a licensed contractor
- Other projects as required
- **Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**:

- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar role
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
- Ability to work independently and take on new challenges
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English
- Ability to deal with others effectively
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
