**Anti-Human Trafficking Advocate (1-Year Contract)**

**Full-Time - 40 hours/week | Hourly Wage: $26.64**
**Location: City of Kawartha Lakes, ON**

Women’s Resources is a dedicated organization providing emergency shelter and counselling services to women and children affected by abuse within the City of Kawartha Lakes. We are currently seeking a compassionate and driven individual to join our team as an **Anti-Human Trafficking Advocate**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide trauma-informed, client-centered support to HST survivors in both residential and community settings
- Facilitate connections to resources, services, and supports
- Deliver education and awareness to local agencies and community partners
- Participate as a member of a collaborative shelter team

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in Human **Services (or related field) required**:

- **3**-5 years of experience in women’s services, street outreach, or mental health/addictions
- Compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to support
- Proven ability to build trust with vulnerable populations
- Excellent knowledge of local community resources and advocacy skills
- Self-directed, critical thinker with strong initiative
- Strong written, verbal, and computer literacy skills
- Confident public speaker for education and awareness presentations
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle required

**Additional Details**:

- Hours are flexible and may include days, evenings, and weekends
