Enjoy skating, tubing, Ridge Runner and more. - Staff priced meals & Starbucks treats. - Reduced rate experiences at all other Alterra Mountain Company resorts. **HOURLY RATE**: Starting at $19.29 per hour **FULL OR PART-TIME HOURS**: - Full Time: Average 4-5 shifts/week - Part Time: Average 1-3 shifts/week **WHAT WILL I BE DOING?** The Race Crew under the supervision of the Race Crew Supervisor is responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and take down of Special Events and/or Jozo Weider race courses. - Follow the procedures that are required in setting up and dismantling a race course. - Ensure that all signage has been placed for general public awareness of closed ski runs. - Ensure all objects are off the hill before reopening the ski run. - Race crew staff, in conjunction with volunteers and coaches, will ensure that all race courses are maintained to ensure safety of all athletes or clients by continuous slipping and re-screwing or replacing gates. - Be ready and well equipped, with a drill, gate key, and extra gates to be able to react to maintenance issues. - Safety should be considered when setting courses. Set to the level of the athletes or clients. - Be a champion of the "Guest Experience". **WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?** - Willing and able to work outdoors in a variety of unpredictable weather conditions. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs of gates and/or fencing while side slipping down the mountain. - Must be an experienced skier or snowboarder. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Excellent customer services skills. - Must be able to work flexible hours; including evenings and weekends. - Some long shifts required. **AUTHENTICITY | EMPOWERMENT | COLLABORATION | PURPOSE** **BLUE MOUNTAIN RESORT COMPANY OVERVIEW** Blue Mountain Resort is Ontario's largest mountain resort.
