**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities.
- Supervise and lead a crew of labourers and equipment operator.
- Interpret construction drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans.
- Monitor progress and report updates to the Project Manager.
- Enforce safety procedures and ensure adherence to company safety policies.
- Liaise with subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers as needed.
- Identify potential issues and propose solutions proactively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of site activities and materials.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of civil construction techniques and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Experience operating or supervising the use of heavy equipment is an asset.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices and regulations.
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5 minimum); clean driving record.
