**CNC Operator**

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up machines with correct tooling for specific profile
- Perform routine machine maintenance (cleaning, adjusting spindle, replacing parts)
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions
- Inspect machine parts for defects and verify that the part was removed from the machine by a qualified person according to our Quality Policy and Procedures
- Perform routine machine repairs (replacing worn tools, adjusting spindles, changing speeds etc.)
- Maintain quality levels by following procedures and monitoring equipment to ensure it is running correctly
- Coordinate repairs with other departments (as needed)
- Assist in the planning of maintenance programs for machinery and equipment that does not have immediate needs
- Assist in the planning of special events for staff and customers (as needed)

**Experience: must be computer friendly, training is provided.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: $15.74-$28.34 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vaughan, ON L4K 5T7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Machine Operator: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Night Shift (preferred)
