CLUB OVERVIEW

Since 1966, Lakeshore Soccer Club has confidently supported athletes in Baie-D'Urfé,

Beaconsfield, Kirkland, Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, and Senneville. As one of Quebec’s largest soccer

clubs with 3500+ members, we are a proud member of the Lac St-Louis Regional Soccer

Association and hold a National Youth License.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The club is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Technical Coordinator who will be able to

support the Club’s technical department with administering the programs while actively

collaborating with the Sporting Director, Director of Administration, CDC Coordinator and Elite

Programs Coordinators.RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Management
- Assist the Club’s Sporting Director with all the ongoing processes and projects related to

the technical department of the club;
- Assist the Club’s Sporting Director and Program Coordinator of the CDC and Elite

streams with developing and implementing the program’s curriculum;
- Ensure programming aligns with Canada Soccer’s and Soccer Quebec standards;
- Assist the Club’s Scheduler with designing and communicating the programs’ schedules;
- Monitor and evaluate programs’ quality to ensure that the standards are met;
- Organize and deliver player and parents meeting to set expectations for upcoming

seasons and provide opportunity to receive feedback;
- Assist and collaborate with the Club’s Director of Administration to ensure that

programs’ administration and registration is seamless;
- Cultivate a competitive club culture and strive to improve the club’s programs and their

delivery.

Coach and Technical Staff Management
- Support the Club’s Sporting Director with coach recruitment, assessment and

retainment;
- Ensure that the coaches across all the programs meet the Soccer Quebec coaching

standards;
- Coordinate coach education and certification opportunities, as well as help coaches with

scheduling their license evaluations if required;
- Support coaches with organizing coverage for their time-off requests.

Player Development
- Assist the Club’s Sporting Director and Program Coordinator of the CDC and Elite

streams with the player evaluation process;
- Assist with organizing the player open houses and try-outs.

Community Engagement and Event
- Collaborate with the local schools to promote the Club’s soccer programs;
- Support with delivery and organization of the Club’s major events, such as Open House,

Try-outs, Lakeshore Classic Tournament, Winter Fest, etc.

Other Responsibilities
- Other responsibilities required to support the club’s Sporting Director.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Passion for sport and knowledge of soccer;
- Knowledge of Quebec soccer system;
- Pursuing or holding a certificate/degree in sports management, recreation, education or

a related field, is an asset;
- Prior experience in soccer program management;
- Verbal and written knowledge of English and French;
- Strong computer skills;
- Strong administrative and planning skills;
- Strong communication skills;
- Detail-oriented;
- Being able to focus on one task for a long period of time;
- Ability to lift soccer equipment, such as tents, bags, uniform boxes, etc.
