The Portage la Prairie School Division is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic behaviour coach to join our team at North Memorial School.

In collaboration with the School Based Administration and Divisional Student Services Teams, the Behaviour Coach will work with classroom teachers to enhance classroom routines and expectations to support all students. In addition, they will work with individual students and small groups of students to enhance skills and problem-solving strategies. The Behaviour Coach will assume the lead role on the school's PBIS implementation team. PBIS strategies will be the foundation of enhancing behavioral supports and interventions.

Portage la Prairie School Division is approximately a 50-minute drive down the Trans Canada Hwy West from Winnipeg and is 1,500 square kilometres in size. We have approximately 3,500 Kindergarten to Grade 12 students and provide teachers and programs to schools in 9 area Hutterite colonies.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Province of Manitoba Teaching Certificate
- Minimum of five years teaching experience
- Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Counselling, Resource or Administration preferred or in progress
- Level 1 & 2 NVCI certificate
- PBIS Training preferred
- Rainbows, Roots of Empathy, Sources of Strength training preferred

Clear Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry checks are required of all employees of the Portage la Prairie School Division.
