**Job Details**:

- ** Location**:400 McNeilly Road, Stoney Creek, ON.
- ** Hourly Wage**: $21-23 for experienced certified operator.
- ** Benefits**:Company-paid group medical, dental and insurance after probation.

**Job Duties**:

- Loading / unloading shipments and movement of products within our facility through the use of a counterbalance forklift, Raymond Reach, or electric pallet jack in a safe manner.
- Prepare shipping dock to transfer out product.
- Match product with shipping / receiving documents.
- Verify shipping / receiving products' order numbers and codes.
- Inspect products to ensure quality conditions with acceptable coding identification.
- Stage and load shipment skids onto trailers using the forklift.
- Process required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking shipped products.
- Report discrepancies to the immediate supervisor.
- Follow current safety standards and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Attention to detail.
- Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Valid counterbalance forklift/Raymond Reach certificate.
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. may be required.
- Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
- Good organizational and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to perform active physical labour, lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance, walk, stand and sit for long periods of time.
- Commitment to product quality and safety.
- Respect diversity - treat others with respect.
- Safety footwear.

**Working Conditions**:

- This position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, heat, and cold.
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment (e.g. seatbelt, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed safety shoes/boots, hearing protection, etc.)
