Looking for **General Labor support** at our Leamington, Ontario location, with an estimated requirement of **5-10 local workers**.

**Position Details**:

- Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Duration: Through September (Harvest Season)
- Schedule: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Includes two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch
Workers will be on-call Monday through Friday and typically scheduled for a couple days per week

**Responsibilities**:
**Greenhouse & Field Tasks**:

- Seeding and transplanting tomato plants
- Pruning, clipping, and tying up plants
- Assisting in tomato hybrid crossing (greenhouse and field)
- Plot maintenance and weed control

**Harvest & Sampling**:

- Picking tomatoes for testing
- Collecting field samples and seed data
- Participating in seed harvesting and hybrid crossing

**Requirements**:

- **Legally eligible to work in Canada**:

- High school diploma
- Agriculture experience is an asset
- Computer skills including a knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to analyze, solve problems, organize, communicate effectively, perform duties as requested and work as a team are required in this position.
- Possess an extreme level of detail and accuracy
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time under different weather conditions.
- Must have valid driver’s license (full license)

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 1-2 months

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
