With healing, connectivity, and creation at the forefront, Báhoo Studio is more than a teaching space. Báhoo is a close-knit community for creators - even the ‘uncreative’.

Báhoo is a multi-disciplinary art studio with a focus on ceramics. We host ongoing long-format ceramic classes and workshops for students across the Vancouver greater area. We are located in the bustling arts district of south Chinatown, and are committed to contributing to our surrounding resilient and vibrant community.

Located in Vancouver’s Chinatown, Báhoo Studio was founded with the intention to inspire students to explore their creativity through inclusive ceramics classes and studio memberships

**Our Team**

Much like our approach to ceramics classes, the development of our team is grounded in hands-on learning. With a focus on instruction that helps students build fundamental skills, our team facilitates an environment that allows students to create while exploring the facets of ceramics that interest them most. Each Báhoo team member is encouraged to deepen their own practice and grow as a ceramicist and person even beyond the studio doors.

Báhoo Studio is proud to welcome students and artists into a collaborative environment. We are members and allies of the LGBTQ2S+ communities, and we believe that people of all ages, genders and identities deserve a peaceful refuge to flourish in.

The nature of the work we do can be physically demanding. We believe that the best workspace is one that suits the people and bodies involved. We are consistently adapting our space and tasks to best suit our team’s abilities and needs.

We’re excited to welcome new team members into the Báhoo community We are currently looking for **studio attendants, studio technicians **and **ceramic teachers** to join our team.

**Studio Attendant (2 positions available)**:
Primary responsibilities:

- Maintaining a clean, healthy and safe studio space
- Recycling clay
- Wedging clay
- Assisting students and members with basic studio related questions
- Directing students and members to the website or other collaborators for more information

Shifts:

- Sundays 10am - 4pm
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10am - 2pm

Compensation:

- Studio membership and class discount
- Mentorship and Skill Development programs

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 4-20 per week

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
