**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Perform a variety of gardening tasks, including planting, watering, weeding, pruning, and mulching, using sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
- Maintain and implement ecological landscapes, including native plantings, rain gardens, food gardens and pollinator habitats.
- Lead and supervise a small team in all aspects of landscape maintenance and implementation.
- Implement organic and low-impact gardening practices, including composting, mulching, and natural pest management techniques.
- Conduct site assessments, soil analysis, and plant inventories to inform landscape design and maintenance strategies.
- Educate clients and team members on ecological principles, sustainable landscaping practices, and the benefits of native & pollinator plantings.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory supplies necessary for gardening operations.
- Keep detailed records of daily operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of a Horticulture Certification program, or minimum of level 1.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape maintenance or a combination of other horticulture/ecological restoration related positions.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team. Collaboration and communication are essential aspects of our workplace.
- Extensive knowledge of plant species.
- Ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

**How to Apply**:
Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
