This role requires full time on site presence.
Your role
Please note:
- The work schedule may include weekend shifts.- Superior French-language skills are required.- University degree or equivalent.- Three years’ directly related experience, including proven ability in the field and knowledge of the broadcasting industry.- Excellent reporting and interviewing skills.- Ease with live reporting.- Bilingualism (English and French) required.- Knowledge of Manitoba affairs and Franco-Manitoban community issues.- Knowledge of CBC/Radio-Canada journalistic and programming policies.- Ability to work flexible hours and on weekends as needed.- Ability to work with a variety of teams.- Critical-thinking abilities.- Proven ability to work in a high-stress, tight-deadline environment.- Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.- Understanding of the public broadcaster’s role and responsibilities.- Valid driver’s licence, as well as a driving record that meets the criteria of CBC/Radio-Canada’s insurer.
