Our client produces oil and natural gas in Alberta and BC. The company is committed to optimizing production, responsibly managing liabilities, and exploring future growth opportunities through acquisitions and carbon reduction initiatives.
Role Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Administrator to join our Calgary office. Reporting to the SCM Lead, this position plays a critical support role in the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the SCM Lead in preparing purchase orders, RFx documents, and invoice approval workflows.
- Track orders and coordinate with vendors to confirm timely delivery and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor Open PO Reports and reconcile vendor accounts, ensuring timely invoice submissions.
- Generate reports for Spend Analysis, Bid Comparison, PO Management, and Supplier Performance
- Assist with logistics, materials management, and warehouse coordination as needed.
- Maintain supplier files and documentation in compliance with corporate policies and audit standards.
- Help implement procurement best practices and support strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Uphold a service-first approach with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain or procurement roles
- Oil & gas experience an asset
- Strong working knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract management, logistics, and materials management.
- Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
- SCMP designation (or progress toward it) is a plus.
- Advanced Excel and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Familiarity with RFx processes, bid evaluation, and ERP procurement systems is preferred.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and a collaborative approach.
Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
