We are looking for an experienced highly motivated individual to join our sales team.

This position is a commissioned based opportunity, so your earning capacity is up to you However, we encourage only individuals who are high achievers with exceptional sales experience to apply.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for growing our inside sales by actively prospecting for new customers, identifying opportunities, presenting solutions, closing, and building ongoing relationships within the community.
- Prospect and develop new commercial accounts to build.
- Source new leads, cold call, and actively follow up to bring in new customers including commercial property rental and construction companies.
- Meet with homeowners, architects, designers and general contractors.
- Prepare estimates from drawings or on-site measures.
- Work with clients, suppliers, and installers to set and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Scout, identify new floor covering opportunities, secure sales and build business relationships with potential customers to create sales growth.
- Conduct in-store and in-home consultations with customers to arrive at the best choice for each individual.
- Support customers after initial sales to ensure satisfaction and realize opportunities for further sales.
- Coordinate sales and installation of flooring for residential and commercial clients.
- Order materials and schedule sub-contractors.
- Showroom coverage with some Saturdays being a must when needed.
- Track and inspect special orders and keep comprehensive records of sales.

Qualifications:

- Flooring Sales: 1 year (required)
- Flooring Project Management: 1 year (required)
- In-depth knowledge of multiple flooring and tile products a necessary requirement
- Prior flooring installation experience (considered an asset).
- Tremendous people skills, positive personality, problem solver, and attentive listening.
- Strong understanding of the Construction Industry with great emphasis on Flooring Sales and Project Management experience.
- Experience in building materials / home renovation / residential & commercial development related industries a strong asset.

Pay: $40,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Commission pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Victoria, BC V8X 1J6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
