**Job Summary**:
Transit Glass & Aluminum Ltd. is one of the leading curtain wall/glazing companies in the City of Ottawa. We are seeking an experienced curtain wall project manager, a full-time position to run curtain wall projects. We are dedicated to building an effective team-orientated workplace which will provide opportunities for growth for all of our employees.

The Project manager will report directly to the President and work with other Project Managers and coordinators in-house.

**Responsibilities**:

- Submit physical samples and data for review by consultants.
- Work in conjunction with the General Contractors team and ensure all materials are procured in a timely fashion to meet the construction schedule.
- Order fabricated glass products to suit completed frames.
- Ensure all materials are compliant with specifications and approved samples /data.
- Manage and procure fabrication drawings.
- Project close out. Warranty / manual submissions to client
- Place all orders for glass and doors from the various suppliers ensuring specification compliance.
- Work with shop fabricators to produce fabricated curtain wall systems.
- Accept special assignments as presented.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Work with customers and other Transit Glass team members to achieve successful execution of the project.
- Interpret the scope of work documents, specifi cations, purchase orders and drawing documents.
- Gather appropriate relevant data to present and execute projects.
- Communicate professionally and effectively in English orally and written.
- Work and communicate effectively with the Transit Glass team members.
- Willing and capable of attending meetings at job sites and or customer offices within Canada.
- Work within and foster a team environment.
- Set priorities to manage multiple projects and enquiries concurrently while maintaining deadlines.
- Have a great knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel and Outlook) and AutoCAD software.
- The principles and practices of Project Management
- Efficient interpersonal skills

**Experience**: 10 years minimum experience in curtain wall systems.
