**Research Team Manager: Power Systems and Digitalization - Montreal, CA**

For our research center in North America, we are looking for a **Research Team Manager** to lead the Power Systems team in **Montreal, Canada**. Your team will focus on multidisciplinary research in Power systems, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Machine Learning, and Cyber Security.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Line management for a multidisciplinary research team
- Coach team members to support their professional development
- Ensure professional execution of R&D projects and quality of results
- Recruit and onboard new employees to the team
- Foster the creation of new R&D project proposals and strategic research initiatives
- Maintain and extend an excellent network to relevant business units and leading universities
- Drive a culture of innovation and foster the creation of high value research
- Contributing to technical work in research projects and pre-studies

**Your Requirements**
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- Previous experience and proven track record in industrial R&D
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage expectations and complex interdependencies
- Team-oriented and innovative personality as well as solution-oriented working style
- Technical expertise in power systems
- Fluency in English, both written and oral.
